The Perfect Mortgage Program for Your Perfect Home!

6/4/2020

It’s springtime and with it comes warmer weather. Spring also means the buyers’ market for home purchasing starts to heat up. Are you in the market for a new home this Spring? If so, S2S has several mortgage programs to help you find your perfect home.

Before you get started, here are three tips for each stage of the home buying process.

1. Pre-plan– Before you even begin looking for a new house, you need to know how much you can afford. Getting a mortgage pre-approval will help you determine how much of a mortgage you can be approved for and helps you shop within your budget. A lot of buyers won’t even accept an offer without a pre-approval, so it’s a good idea to get this right at the beginning. S2S can help with this.

2. Shop– The biggest advice we can give for this phase is to have patience. Buying a home can be a long process that can take several months, to not only find what you want, but also to process the loan. And remember, you don’t want to rush into finalizing your loan without getting a proper inspection done.

3. Move In – When you first move in you’ll save yourself a lot of time and trouble if you make a plan of attack for setting everything up instead of just winging it. This is particularly true for large and heavy items like furniture. While you may already have a basic idea of what goes in what room, give yourself a moment to think about exactly how you’d like the set up to look. You can make changes later of course but going into this task with a general plan is always going to make the job easier.

If you’re looking to buy a new home S2S has you covered. Click here to get started.
