Debit Card

Using your Debit Card is much faster and easier than writing checks. Swipe, sign and go! Every purchase is automatically deducted from your Checking Account and will be listed on your monthly statement. There are no fees to use your Debit Card as a point of sale transaction and you can use your Debit Card anywhere MasterCard is accepted. Your Debit Card also doubles as an ATM card. You can deposit, withdraw and transfer funds at more than 18,000 participating surcharge-free ATMs nationwide.
Debit or Credit? Know your choices.

The DEBIT CHOICE is accessed using your PIN (Personal Identification Number) and will be withdrawn and will reflect on your account the same day as the transaction.
 

• Transactions using your PIN may not exceed $500 per day or three (3) transactions per day.


The CREDIT CHOICE will be withdrawn from your account 2-5 days after the transaction.
 

• Transactions that require your signature may not exceed your Credit Union Approved limit up to $3,000 per day and may not exceed 15 transactions per day.

In an effort to control fees to our members the most economical way for Shore to Shore Community Federal Credit Union to handle your Debit Card transactions is the CREDIT CHOICE. Help us keep our fees as low as possible.

Lost/Stolen Debit Cards or Unauthorized Charges
It is very important to inform Shore to Shore Community Federal Credit Union of any lost or stolen Debit Cards. In order to protect you and your account you must report the loss or theft of your card within 24 hours of when you discover your card is missing.
To dispute unauthorized charges you must:
 

• Demonstrate that you have exercised reasonable care in safeguarding your card from the risk of loss or theft.
• Keep your PIN safeguarded and do not place it with your card.
• If these conditions are met, your liability is no more than $50.00

Important information you need to know about overdraft fees and overdrafts with the use of your debit or ATM card!

Stay Protected! New regulation has been passed by lawmakers governing overdraft protection programs that went into effect on August 15, 2010. As a member of Shore to Shore Community Federal Credit Union you now have a decision to make concerning whether to participate in our Courtesy Pay (overdraft protection) program. If you would like to continue to have our overdraft service cover your ATM and everyday debit card transactions then you will need to notify us.

ATM Card

Working long hours? Out of town? Your Shore to Shore Community Federal Credit Union ATM card can give you account access on the go. You can deposit, withdraw and transfer funds at more than 18,000 participating surcharge-free ATMs nationwide.
 

• Maximum withdrawal up to $500.00 per day.
• Maximum of three (3) withdrawals per day.
• No fee for withdrawals, deposits or transfers at any CO-OP Network ATM.
• $1.00 fee for balance inquiries at any ATM; to include CO-OP Network ATM’s.
• $2.00 fee for a withdrawal, deposit or transfer using any other ATM not in the CO-OP Network


Some ATMs do not offer full service and as an example, only withdrawals are permitted.

Home Banking


Home Banking gives you a free, convenient and easy connection to your credit union accounts. By using the Internet you can accomplish several types of transactions on your credit union account. Transactions that you will be able to accomplish are as follows:
 

  • Check Account Balances. You will be able to view your account balances from your own computer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will be able to get detailed information about your accounts. The information is updated instantly, just like you would get if you were in the credit union office doing transactions.
  • Review Account Transaction History. Online banking will allow you to view recent transactions that have posted to your accounts. Now you won't have to wait for your statements to arrive before you can reconcile your account, verify your cleared outstanding checks, track your ATM withdrawals and much more. S2SCFCU upgraded our online banking on 8/1/2010. History of your account(s) begins on 8/1/2010. If you would like history previous to 8/1/2010 please contact us. If you need any assistance please give us a call at 734-675-3100.
  • Transfer Funds. Online banking will allow you to transfer funds between your credit union share accounts and share draft checking accounts.
  • Transfer Loan Payments. Online banking will allow you to make loan transfers on your loans and VISA payments from your savings and checking accounts.
  • E-Mail. Online banking will allow you to e-mail the credit union your requests in a safe and secure environment.
  • Export Options. In the event you would like to capture some of your account data from the online banking system for use in a 1999 or newer version of Quicken or Microsoft Money our export options enable you to do just that.

Free Bill Pay Option

Pay bills one at a time or set-up for an automatic monthly payment.
Bills will be paid by check the first time and if recurring they will be via ACH in subsequent months. Allow up to 5 days for your first bill to be paid.
Members receive Bill Pay FREE. The member must also be enrolled in E-Statements. Please see information about E-Statements below. For more information call 734-675-3100 or stop into one of our offices to get signed up.

E-Statements

E-Statements are available online through Home Banking, our online account access system. To sign up for E-Statements you must be set-up for Home Banking first. After you are set-up for Home Banking, E-Statements are available to you on the left-hand side under E-Statements. Once you are signed-up it will take 30 days for your statements to be available online and you will no longer receive paper statements mailed to you.

Audio Teller Phone Access

Using Audio Teller you can access your account over the phone. Simply call Shore to Shore Community Federal Credit Union (734-675-3100) and select option 2 for Audio Teller. With Audio Teller you can check balances, listen to account transaction histories, transfer funds and make loan and VISA payments for free.
