New Apple iOS 9 causing S2S Mobile App Issues
We’ve recently been made aware of some compatibility issues with S2S’s mobile App and Apple’s iOS 9 Release upgrade. Unfortunately, Apple does not provide access to the new iOS until it goes live; therefore, we are unable to test our app and make sure that it is fully compatible with the new iOS system changes until then. Our technology team is working closely with our Mobile Banking provider to address and resolve the following compatibility issues:
- Fingerprint Authentication: Members who attempted to enable fingerprint authentication are being sent back to the login screen and then the app locks up. A fix will be applied that corrects this issue.
- Remote Deposit Capture (RDC): A fix will be applied that resolves an issue for RDC transactions where the app freezes or crashes after pressing the submit button for a deposit.
- Account Selection Menus: A fix will be applied that will resolve an issue when a user selects an account for a transfer, bill payment, etc. and attempts to switch accounts selected which results in the app freezing.
